Qualitest offers two models of Anchor Test Systems. The Super Heavy Duty Anchor Test System has an impressive capacity of 32,500lbf (145kN) and The Standard Anchor test System with a capacity of up to 5,620lbf (25kN). The standard system has a pull stroke of up to four inches. The long pull stroke allows for complete extraction of most fixings in one simple operation. A load diffusion bridge and pyramid are available to keep reaction loads away from the anchor point.
Super Heavy Duty Anchor Test System 145kN (32,500lbf)

Qualitest’s Super Heavy Duty Anchor Test System 145kN (32,500lbf) tester has been designed to meet the demand for proof load testing of larger construction fixings. A lightweight triangular shape aluminum load spreading bridge has been designed specifically for the model 2008 tester and directs reaction loads away from the fixing, this combined with the tester weighs only 14kg (30lb).
Load application is achieved via a ratchet handle driving a hydraulic multiplier and the applied load is recorded on a digital gauge which is integral with the tester.
This compact design of the tester and load spreading bridge is lighter and more convenient to apply than a separate hydraulic pump and cylinder arrangement.

Standard Anchor Test Kit for Load Verification 0-25kN
Qualitest’s Standard Anchor Test Kit enable engineers to confirm the holding power of anchors in most construction materials, either for the purpose of establishing safe working loads or to validate the correct installation of existing fixings. The tensile load of up to 25kN is applied to the fixing mechanically and hydraulics are used to register the load through an accurate analog gauge, making the tester very reliable.
The choice of 5 gauge capacities means the precision of readings can be optimized for each application. Load spreading bridges and the pyramid stool keep reaction loads away from the fixing. Fixings up to M16 may be located directly in the tester, while a variety of adaptors enable a wide range of other types and sizes to be tested.
Available as a standard kit with 1 gauge or a master kit with 2 (or more) interchangeable gauges.

Accessories
Reaction Load Diffusion
In order to test correctly and avoid damage to the host construction material, reaction loads must be absorbed by the structure well away from the fixing under test. This can be achieved by either a load diffusion bridge for verification testing or, if greater distance is required, by a load diffusion pyramid for testing to failure. Both of these optional accessories have large feet to minimize bearing pressure and are height adjustable to accommodate different adaptor.
