DIN Abrasion Tester

NBS Abrasion Tester
As per ASTM D-1630, our NBS Abrasion tester, commonly used in the footwear and shoe industries, determines the resistance to abrasion of vulcanized rubber, or other rubber materials that are similar to the standard reference compound, used for the soles and heels of footwear. It is not recommended for materials less than 2.5 mm (0.1 in.) in thickness. The unit has three test stations with dial micrometer readout. Test weights and cycle counter are also included.
