To study the properties of materials as they change temperature, companies often use a thermal analyzer on product samples. There are many types of thermal analyzers, spanning different properties that can be measured as a sample undergoes various material changes.
Qualitest’s Synchronous Thermal Analyzer QT-STA100 combines two types of thermal testing in one device, and can execute those tests simultaneously. The QT-STA100 conducts both Thermo Gravimetric Analysis (TGA) and a Differential Scanning Calorimeter (DSC) testing, examining the same sample using both techniques to save time and increase efficiency. TGA determines the thermal stability, decomposition, redox, adsorption, free water and gesso content, as well as computing the proportions of ingredients. Whereas DSC can read the phase change, reaction temperature and heat, melting, crystallization, heat of combustion, and specific heat capacity of a material.
With a built-in gas flow meter, a user-friendly 7-inch touchscreen display, and intelligent software that can record TG curves automatically, the Qualitest Synchronous Thermal Analyzer conducts high-quality thermal tests while providing reproducible results.
