ToniNORM is one of the world’s most advanced compression test systems. The compact ToniNORM is perfect for a laboratory environment. With ToniNORM measuring and control system, the entire testing procedure from machine setup to data recording, is controlled with full digital accuracy. The software programming for the system allows hands-off testing to ensure technician safety and testing accuracy. ToniNORM, along with the rest of the ToniLAB test systems, can be operated and monitored remotely through a computer network connection.
ToniNORM is available in testing loads from 200kN (45,000lbs) to 10000kN (2,270,000lbs). The most common strength testers are 2000kN, 3000kN, 4000kN, 5000kN and 6000kN.

Rigid Frame: The four-column rigid frame is fully clamped to ensure there is minimal play and deflection even at the highest machine test loads. The servo valves for oil pressure are integrated into the base of the machine.
Piston and Cylinder: Mounted at the base, the plunger piston is hardened to ensure minimal deflection. The piston is equipped with a protection cap and stroke indicator.
Spherical Ball Seat: The bearing blocks are similarly hardened (=HRC 55) to ensure maximum test specimen compression. The upper bearing block can tilt up to 3º to any side to allow for top surface angle.
The lower bearing block is equipped with a crosshair and 6.10” (155mm) diameter centering ring. The maximum daylight between the platens without the auxiliary plates is 13.4” (340mm) which can be reduced to 10.8” (275mm) with one auxiliary plate and 8.3” (210mm) with both plates.
ToniTROL Digital Control System:
As a modular control system, the ToniTROL can be adapted to your specific testing needs to include up to 100 programmable automatic test procedures, specialized building material testing software and environmentally protected data transfer and interface system.
ToniTROL is capable of controlling and monitoring up to three load frames, 13 peripheral sensor interfaces and extended test and specimen data storage. The software can be upgraded at need should your ToniLAB expand to include other automated concrete or cement test systems.
