Friction Peel Tester - QT-FPT

QT-FPT Friction/Peel Tester can be used to test coefficient of static and kinetic friction of plastic films, sheets, rubber, paper and paper board, PP woven bags, fabrics, metal-plastic composite belts for communication cable, conveyor belts, wood, coatings, brake pads, windshield wipers, shore materials and tires. By measuring the smoothness of a product, the fastest running speed of packaging line can be realized.

Working Principle

The two samples are placed together. A long strip sample is fixed on the flat surface and another squared sample is applied force by a sled. The friction force is measured when they slip against each other.
