Qualitest QT-HST Series of heat seal testing equipment is specially designed to simulate heat sealing condition and affecting parameters for determination of heat sealing ability of plastic films, composite films, coated paper, and other sealing films under specified sealing conditions.
The heat sealing ability of materials is a function of temperature, pressure and duration of temperature and pressure applied for creating a seal and greatly affected by the factors of melting point, thermal stability, fluidity and thickness. The optimal heat sealability parameters can be obtained accurately and efficiently.
It is widely used in food industries, pharmaceutical industries and packaging industries to test their packaging material and define packaging procedure for packaging operation and quality control of product packaging and products.
It can test a wide range of materials including plastic films, plastic composite films, paper-plastic composite films, aluminized films, aluminum foil, aluminum composite films, high barrier films, rigid films, stretch films, and many other materials like PET, OPP, CPP, LDPE, BOPP, etc.
It can also be used to evaluate heat sealing properties of engineering plastics, rubber, waterproofing materials, and thermal insulation materials like. PP, PVC, PVDC, and nylon Packages: plastics, rubber, paper, paper-plastic composite etc.
