Sample Specimen Preparation CNC Machine: Introducing our new advance Sample Specimen Preparation CNC machines known as QualiMill and QualiLathe.

A test specimen is the most important component of tensile testing for it determines the actual physical properties of the material being tested. The specimen must conform to exact physical dimensions and must be free of induced cold working or heat distortion. Qualified laboratory personnel and accurately calibrated tensile machines are important, but the ultimate test results are based on the quality and accuracy of the test specimen.

A highly skilled machinist, a precision milling machine and considerable hand finishing can achieve the required configurations of the test specimen. However, the slow milling cutter speeds create heavy chip loads and can induce severe internal distortion to the machined edges. The amount of induced cold working or heat distortion cannot be determined by visual or heat distortion cannot be determined by visual inspection, hence test results often produce erratic and inaccurate tensile properties.

Specimens of light gauge sheet must be blanked, sheared or die cut to the required tensile configuration. The basic principle of shearing causes severe deformation and distortion to the critical specimen edges and creates even greater variations and errors in the physical properties.

The ideal tensile specimen should duplicate the pure basic metal or plastic being tested with a total absence of tool marks, incipent cracks, induced stresses, internal deformation or heat distortion. Learn more

Environmental Stress Cracking Tester: Environmental Stress Cracking Testing is performed by slowly bending the test specimens and placing them in a holding clamp. The clamp and specimens are then placed in a test tube and immersed in a specified reagent. The test tube is sealed and placed in a constant-temperature bath. Multiple test specimens are tested at one time. Learn more

Pipe Wall Thickness Tester: QT-WTM Pipe Wall Thickness Tester is used to determine wall thickness for pipes (PE, PB, PEX-Al-PEX, etc.) at the maximum axial depth of 400mm. Pipe Wall Thickness Tester is widely used in pipe manufacturing, water supply and drainage projects or Industrial field.

ISO3126:2005 Plastics piping systems -- Plastics components -- Determination of dimensions. It specifies methods for measurement and/or determination of the dimensions of plastics pipes and fittings and the accuracy of the measurement. It specifies procedures for measuring angles, diameters, lengths, squareness and wall thicknesses for the purposes of checking conformity to geometric limits. Learn more

Mechanical Stability Tester: QT-MST Mechanical Stability Tester is used to determine the mechanical stability of rubber latex concentrate, also suitable for prevulcanized rubber latex concentrate. It is an essential instrument required to improve the quality of rubber latex. It conforms to ISO 35 and the equivalent. ISO Guide 35 Reference materials -- Guidance for characterization and assessment of homogeneity and stability. Learn more

Manhole Impact Tester: Manhole impact tester is used to test the impact performance of manhole base and manhole wall. Plastics piping systems for non-pressure underground drainage and sewerage. Unplasticized poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC-U), polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE). Specifications for manholes and inspection chambers in traffic areas and deep underground installations. It is the standard to test the mechanical performance or physical properties of pipework systems, Pipes, Drainpipes, Plastics, Unplasticized polyvinyl chloride, Polypropylene, Polyethylene, Underground, Water supply and waste systems that could be used in building, drainage, sewers and sewage engineering. Learn more

Ring Stiffness Tester: Ring Stiffness Tester is used to determine ring stiffness, ring softness, and compression of thermoplastic pies having a circular cross-section. It conforms to the requirements of all kinds of plastic pipes, such as structured-wall pipes, PE corrugated pipes, helically wound pipes, etc. Learn more

Pipe Cutting and Chamfering Machine: Pipe cutting and chamfering machine is mainly used for cutting and chamfering big pipes. Cooperating with pipe extrusion production line, makes it an ideal machine for pipe manufacturer, as well as for quality inspection and research institution mainly used for cutting and chamfering big pipes. Cooperating with pipe extrusion production line, makes it an ideal machine for pipe manufacturer, as well as for quality inspection and research institutions. Learn more

Hydrostatic Pressure Tester: This Hydrostatic Pressure Tester is mainly used in testing the short-time hydraulic failure and resistance to a constant internal pressure of the plastic pipes for the transport of fluids. It is designed to determine the resistance of thermoplastics pipes and short-time hydraulic burst to constant internal water pressure at a constant temperature. It is applicable to thermoplastic pipes intended for the conveyance of fluids. It conforms to ASTM D1598-2004, ASTM D1599 and IS0 1167-2006. Learn more

Pendulum Impact Tester for Metals: Qualitest offers Charpy / Izod Impact Testers with capacities up to 750J meeting and exceeding ASTM E23, ISO, DIN, JIS, standard requirements. The key benefits of this line of top technology models are price competitiveness, extremely high precision and durability, automatic motorized lifting of the pendulum hammer to optimize cycle times, flexibility, efficiency for low/high temperature testing, and much more. Optionally we offer temperature chambers, automated sample handling, centering device, Charpy sample preparation and broaching machines for preparation of notched bar specimens. Learn more

Thermal Recycling Testers: Thermal Recycling Testers for Plastic Pipes is used to evaluate the function of hot and cold water-pipes PP,PE-X, PVC-C, PB), under a certain pressure for 5000 cycles. A test assembly of pipes and fittings is subjected to temperature cycling by the passage of water under pressure using hot and cold water alternately for a specified number of cycles. While being subjected to temperature cycling parts of the assembly of pipes and fittings are maintained under tensile stress and/or flexural strain by the use of static clamps.

ASTM F 1335-98 Standard Specification for Pressure-rated Composite Pipe and Fittings for Elevated Temperature Service. The standard covers pressure-rated composite pipe and fittings for the transport of hot or cold liquids, beverages, or gases that are compatible with the composite pipe and fittings. Composite pipe is produced using a butt welded aluminum pipe as a core, with an extruded inside layer of crosslinked polyethylene (PEX) or polyethylene (PE). An adhesive layer is used to bond the inside layer to the wall of the aluminum pipe. An outer layer of polyethylene (PE) and an adhesive layer are extruded to the outer wall of the aluminum pipe.
