The Q-COF Tester - Coefficient of Friction Tester is a state-of-the-art measuring instrument developed and manufactured to surpass various test standards, including ASTM, ISO, and other international requirements. This versatile instrument is well-suited for measuring the static friction coefficient, dynamic friction coefficient, and peel strength of diverse materials like plastic films, composite films, aluminum foils, aluminized films, plates, rubber, ceramics, and other materials during sliding.
Test Principle:
To execute the test, secure the strip test sample with a clamp and envelop the slider with the sample to be tested. Position the slider on the hanging hole of the sensor. Under a specific contact pressure, the motor propels the conveyor belt, initiating movement in the force sensor and causing the two test surfaces to shift relative to each other.
The force signal measured by the force sensor undergoes amplification by the integrator before being transmitted to the recorder, which records the kinetic friction coefficient and static friction coefficient separately.
