AutoVicat-366 6-Station Automatic Vicat Needle Apparatus
Configuration:
The six measuring points (arranged in a 2x3 grid) are positioned within a rectangular trough. Tests can be conducted either in air or in a water bath maintained at a constant temperature, facilitated by a heat exchanger and a cooler to sustain the water temperature. The testing unit is capable of executing programmed test sequences.
The unit automatically logs the initial set time, final set time, and generates setting plots. Additionally, the plunger and Vicat needle are supplemented with an additional weight of 300 g ± 1 g. Following each penetration, the Vicat needle undergoes automatic cleaning.
Important Notes:
- To comply with standard EN 480-2, the additional weight 1.0366.10, the plunger 1.0366.12, and optionally the extra cooling unit 1.0366.13 for achieving a test temperature of 5°C are mandatory.
- Operational requirements include a standard PC or laptop, which is not included in the scope of delivery.
