AutoVicat-368 12-Station Automatic Vicat Needle Apparatus

Configuration:

  • The 12 measuring points (4/4/4) are located within a rectangular trough that is installed within an integrated stainless steel workbench.
  • Tests can be conducted in either air or a water bath with a constant temperature (includes heat exchanger and cooler for maintaining constant water temperature).
  • Programmed Test Sequences: Automated recording of the start and end times of the setting process, as well as the plotting of setting data.
  • The weight of the plunger and the Vicat needle is an additional 300 grams ± 1 gram.
  • After each penetration, the Vicat needle is automatically cleaned.

Important Notes:

  • For compliance with standard EN 480-2, the additional weight (1.0366.10), the plunger (1.0366.12), and optionally the extra cooling unit (1.0366.13) for achieving a test temperature of 5°C are necessary. ** Operation requires a standard PC or laptop, which is not included in the scope of delivery.
