AutoVicat-368-GZ 12-Station Automatic Vicat Needle Apparatus (For Gypsum & Cement Paste)
According to standards EN 196-3, EN 480-2*, EN 13279-2, and DIN 1168, tests can be conducted in either air or a water bath with a consistent temperature (using a heat exchanger and cooler to maintain constant water temperature). The beginning and end of setting time, as well as setting plots, can be automatically recorded.
Configuration:
The six measuring points (2 x 4) are placed in a rectangular trough with programmed test sequences.
For testing gypsum and cement, the following drop bars/weights are included in the equipment:
- Cement: The combined weight of the drop bar and Vicat needle is 300 g ± 1 g. For tests with 1000g, the weight is 700g.
- Plaster: The combined weight of the drop bar and the consistency plunger's additional weight is 100g.
- An additional 300g ± 1g weight for the plunger and the Vicat needle.
After each penetration, the Vicat needle is automatically cleaned.
Important Note:
- To operate, a standard PC with a monitor or laptop is required, which is not included in the package. ** For compliance with standard EN 480-2, the additional weight 1.0366.10, the plunger 1.0366.12, and optionally the additional cooling unit 1.0366.13 for maintaining a test temperature of 5°C are necessary.
