QT-ECTC-6270-2 In-Cabinet Exposure Condensation Test Chamber
The QT-ECTC-6270-2 In-cabinet Exposure Condensation Chamber is designed in accordance with ISO 6270-2 "Paints and varnishes -- Determination of resistance to humidity - Part 2: Condensation (in-cabinet exposure with heated water reservoir)." This standard differs from Part 1, "Continuous condensation," as it defines three cyclic programs: CH (Condensation atmosphere with constant humidity), AHT (Condensation atmosphere with alternating humidity and air temperature), and AT (Condensation atmosphere with alternating air temperature) to simulate various humidity environments.
This chamber provides valuable supplements and explanations for assessing the corrosion degree and types of coating defects in different environments. In comparison to Part 1, which involves single-sided exposure, this method introduces a condensation atmosphere with alternating humidity and air temperature. It is primarily used to evaluate the anti-corrosion capability of paints under varying environmental conditions.
