Cantilever Instant Vision System - QualiVS™ Canti Series
The QualiVS™ Canti Series cantilever instant vision measuring system delivers fast, automatic 2.5D and GD&T measurement for production lines, incoming inspection, and quality labs. Each machine pairs two 20-megapixel monochrome cameras with a double-magnification telecentric lens system. Three motorized axes, automatic focusing, and programmable lighting work together under one software platform. The operator places the part, presses one button, and the system measures every programmed feature. This workflow cuts cycle time and removes operator influence from the result.
The series covers three working envelopes, from 300 × 200 mm up to 500 × 400 mm, all with 200 mm of standard Z travel. The open cantilever frame gives clear access from three sides, so loading large, flat, or fixtured parts stays quick. Type A models use the dual-camera vision sensor, while Type C models add an Omron laser sensor for height and flatness checks. A 25 kg load capacity handles heavy fixtures and multi-part pallets.
Qualitest supplies the QualiVS™ Canti Series with Metus Flash Vision software, whose core algorithm carries certification from PTB, the German national metrology institute. The software imports DXF files, builds programs quickly, and flags out-of-tolerance results by cell color in real time. It calculates CA, CP, and CPK automatically and exports reports directly to a customer MES database. Electronics, automotive, and new-energy manufacturers use it to replace slow manual inspection with repeatable, traceable data.
