Coefficient of Friction Tester - FX-7100-VS
Qualitest's Model FX-7100-VS is a digital COF Tester designed to measure the static and kinetic friction of various substrates, including cartons, plastic film, coatings, textiles, and paper.
A popular choice in our range of COF, Peel & Seal Test Instruments, the Model FX-7100-VS COF Tester is designed for ease of use in determining the Static and Kinetic COF of your film and sheet materials. The variable-speed drive also enables additional test modes. The device relies on force gauge or software for determining static and kinetic COF values, and our FX-7200 Software provides advanced features like graphics, statistics, and detailed friction reports.
Slide Angle testers are designed to measure Static COF values, while horizontal bed versions are capable of determining both Static and Kinetic COF values. Optional Sliding Blocks are available for the FX-7100-VS horizontal bed system, allowing for the testing of various materials including shipping sacks, fiberboard, electrical insulation paper, printed paper, and corrugated materials.
Additionally, Peel/Seal fixtures, tensile grips, and other accessories are available to extend the capabilities of your tester.
