Beam Moulds for Flexural Strength Testing of Concrete

Qualitest offers high-performance Concrete Beam Moulds used for preparing specimens for flexural strength testing of concrete in accordance with EN 12390-2, ASTM C192, and ASTM C78 standards. These beam moulds are an essential component of concrete quality control and performance evaluation, especially for roadways, pavements, and structural components.

Our QualiMould™  Beam Moulds are available in both single-gang and three-gang configurations, offering flexibility for various testing volumes. Standard mould sizes include 100 x 100 x 400 mm, 150 x 150 x 500 mm, and 6” x 6” x 20”, among others.

Material options include:

• Steel Beam Moulds: Provide maximum accuracy, dimensional stability, and durability for laboratory use.
• Cast Iron Beam Moulds: Robust and long-lasting, suitable for high-volume testing environments.
• Plastic and Polyurethane Beam Moulds: Lightweight and easy to handle, ideal for field or moderate-use applications with simple demoulding.

Each beam mould is designed with tight tolerances, smooth internal surfaces, and rigid construction to ensure reliable and repeatable flexural strength results.

These beam molds are designed to produce accurate test specimens while minimizing distortion along their length. The specially designed top edge protects the machined surface, and all inner surfaces are precision-ground for a smooth finish.

These molds are made from cast iron, steel, or ABS plastic. The surfaces are finished using a flat grinding machine, ensuring no distortion during specimen preparation.
