Digital Cupping Tester QualiCup™ I
Digital Cupping Tester Model QualiCup™ I is designed to assess the crack resistance and detachment from the metal substrate of a coated surface, such as paint or varnish, after gradual deformation under standard conditions. The sample panel (maximum 1.25mm thick × 70mm width, coated with a minimum of 0.03mm) is securely clamped by an upper wheel and manually cupped by a 20mm hemispherical indenter onto a 27mm die using a drive wheel. The depth at which failure occurs is indicated on a precise digital display, allowing for easy observation with an illuminated magnifier.
