Digital Hydrostatic Pressure Tester for Fabrics and Textiles
Digital Hydrostatic Pressure Tester for Fabrics and Textiles commonly referred to as the Water Resistance and Penetration Tester for Fabrics and Textiles. This device is essential for determining the water penetration resistance of high-waterproof clothing or coated fabrics through the hydrostatic pressure test. Featuring an Open-Plan design, it offers unrestricted specimen sizing for optimal testing flexibility.

Equipped with a user-friendly 7-inch touch screen, this tester provides high-precision readings with ease. It conveniently displays values and includes a curve diagram depicting pressure variations alongside temperature readings. Operation is simplified, ensuring precise pressurization rates and pressure values.
Thanks to its special power-saving design and precise pressurize control, this tester maintains stable pressure speeds regardless of the specimen's texture. Additionally, its automatic decompression system minimizes water sputtering in case of specimen cracks, ensuring accurate results.
The Digital Hydrostatic Pressure Tester - Water Resistance and Penetration Tester features waterproof buttons and provides ample space for observation, enhanced by luminance. Utilizing low-consumable gadgets, it reduces the need for frequent maintenance, offering efficient and cost-effective testing solutions.
Two testing methods are available:
- Method A - Hydrostatic Pressure Method
- Method B - Certain Pressure Method.
Standards:
AATCC 127 Hydrostatic Pressure Test measures the resistance of a fabric to the penetration of water under hydrostatic pressure. It is applicable to all types of fabrics, including those treated with a water resistant or water repellent finish. Water resistance depends on the repellency of the fibers and yarns, as well as the fabric construction. The results obtained by this method may not be the same as the results obtained by the AATCC methods for resistance to rain or water spray.
ISO 811 specifies a hydrostatic pressure method for determining the resistance of fabrics to penetration by water. The method is applicable to all types of fabrics which are intended to be water resistant whether or not they have been given a water-resistant or water-repellent finish.
