Optical Principles and Core Functions
Pattern Projection and Surface Illumination
Operating as an incredibly accurate Optical Comparator, this machine beams specific, high-intensity LED contour and surface lighting directly onto your part. The standard 10X objective lens, or the optional 20X and 50X glass options, watches how those outlines shift over the surfaces, which avoids the confusion that often trips up other machines.
It then crunches that info through the QualiDigi™ Readout 400 to build a two-dimensional picture that is satisfyingly spot on. It is quick and smooth, catching every little bump or groove with a resolution that measures down to a practically invisible 0.0005 millimeters.
Vertical Path Architecture
We built this Digital Vertical Profile Projector with a straight-up-and-down layout because looking at items from the side often creates those annoying dark spots that hide important features.
By shooting the adjustable LED light straight down, you get a view that is sheer perfection, showing off the dimensions without any messy shadows getting in the way. The system stays totally cool thanks to a three-axis cooling fan setup, giving you the right answer fast, shift after shift.
Non-Distorting Telecentric Optics
We use lenses that refuse to bend the light, which is a massive win for checking flat shapes and tight radii. They use straight-as-an-arrow light rays so that your part does not look bigger or smaller just because it is sitting a little differently on the metal stage.
That stage easily holds a full ten kilograms of weight. You get a perfect silhouette every time, keeping magnification error securely under 0.08%, which is great for capturing those extremely precise diameters and thicknesses that need to be exactly right.
Calibration and System Accuracy
Every tiny feature of your component shows up remarkably sharp because we put the QualiPP™V300 Series through a serious tune-up to make sure it stays honest.
Pixel-Specific Correction
We treat the coated reflector setup like a super-smart mirror. We fix every tiny little warp in the projected image, dot by dot, on the rotating screen.
It is essentially like giving the machine a pair of glasses that are perfectly made for its eyes so everything stays remarkably sharp and true to life across the entire 150 × 100 mm or 200 × 100 mm stage travel area.
Mechanical Precision Alignment
Even the moving metal tracks in this Digital Vertical Profile Projector get a thorough check-up. We use cross-roller rails and a precision lead screw to make sure the lifting mechanism moves in a perfectly straight line.
This removes any wiggles or wobbles that could throw off your measurement figures, which are both clean and delivered incredibly fast.
Sub-Pixel Edge Detection
Our software does not just see shapes. The multi-function DP400 digital readout looks at the microscopically small spaces between the edges.
This sub-pixel trick means we can map the exact outline of your part with a full 360-degree screen rotation that is seriously impressive. This ensures you get a stack of dimensions that are completely clean and totally free of errors. Seriously, what kind of inspection team could turn away measurement data that is this good?
