Application

The QualiFM™ SBPT Mask Synthetic Blood Penetration Tester is designed to assess the resistance of masks to synthetic blood penetration across different pressure levels.

Principle

Mask materials are tested with synthetic blood under sustained pressure, and penetration is determined through visual inspection.

Face Mask Synthetic Blood Penetration Tester - QualiFM™ SBPT Features

  • Equipped with a gas source providing continuous pressurization at 20 to 1 kPa, ensuring operation is not restricted by the test site's space.
  • Features an adjustable pressure gauge for precise pressure control.
  • Uses compressed air as the pressurization medium.
  • Includes a stainless steel penetration test slot designed to securely clamp the sample and prevent synthetic blood from splashing.
  • Features a square metal barrier net with an open area of ≥50% and a bending limit of ≤5mm at 20 kPa.
  • Digital display timer with ±1-second accuracy.
  • Comes with a clamp capable of generating 13.5Nm torque.
