Flexible Manufacturing System (FMS) Education Solution is a fully integrated setup of CNC machines and material-handling equipment controlled by computer systems, designed to train students in key manufacturing technologies and processes.
This system introduces students to real-world automation by combining CNC machining with robotics and materials handling. Learners gain practical skills by developing and editing programs, recording accurate robotic positions, precisely milling parts, and coordinating CNC and robotic operations. Special emphasis is placed on I/O command training, offering a comprehensive virtual hands-on experience in CNC and robotic programming.
The FMS can function as a standalone workcell or be part of a larger CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) system. In a CIM setup, the robot handles CNC machine operations, manages part movement, and performs assembly tasks. It is mounted on a linear slide base, allowing for extended mobility and access to a broader work area.


These machine tending packages are flexible manufacturing cells designed for hands-on training. Each setup includes a 6-axis robotic arm, a CNC lathe, and part storage units. The robot typically manages the CNC machine and carries out part handling and basic assembly tasks.
