The Gas Permeability Tester QT500L uses the differential pressure method for testing, aligning with industry standards such as ASTM D1434 and ISO 2556. Crafted with precision and equipped with advanced pressure sensor technology, this machine guarantees high test accuracy.

Testing Method:
The QT500L gas permeability tester follows the differential pressure method. Insert the prepared sample between the upper and lower chambers, utilize a vacuum pump to evacuate the gas circuit system, and introduce an experimental gas at atmospheric pressure to the upper chamber. This establishes a consistent pressure difference between the upper and lower chambers.
The pressure variance prompts gas to permeate through the film from the upper cavity to the lower cavity. The system then calculates key barrier parameters, such as the gas permeability of the sample, based on the pressure changes in the lower cavity.
