GCL Hydrostatic Pressure Tester (2.5 MPa) - QualiGTX™ GCL HS
QualiGTX™ GCL HS sodium bentonite waterproofing blanket hydrostatic pressure tester establishes the water pressure a bentonite mat holds back before breakthrough occurs. Materials laboratories, blanket producers, and construction QC teams rely on the result to qualify liner rolls against project acceptance limits. The apparatus applies regulated water pressure to a clamped Φ55 mm specimen and counts down the hold interval on an integrated digital timer.
A high-strength aluminum alloy specimen holder keeps the assembly light enough for one technician to load and unload between runs, which suits laboratories cycling through large sample batches. Pressure capability extends to 2.5 MPa, roughly equal to a 250 meter column of water, so the unit covers landfill, reservoir, and deep tunnel specifications from one bench.
Operators drive the whole sequence from a large color touchscreen. Target pressure, timing, and live test status appear on one display, and the automatic timer removes the stopwatch from the procedure. The QualiGTX™ GCL HS occupies a squat bench footprint and pairs naturally with permeability and swell index instruments already installed in a geosynthetics laboratory.
