Industrial Video Borescope - QualiScope™ IV
Industrial Video Borescope, model QualiScope™ IV, combines a 5-inch HD screen with steerable 4 mm or 6 mm probes in one handheld unit for inspecting engines, pipes, and welds without teardown. A 360° joystick bends the tip past 180° in four directions, so operators see around corners and behind obstructions from one access point. The modular build runs either probe on one handset, matching the tool to the access opening. The IPS panel and wide-angle view give clear color imaging in bright shop light.
A high-density tungsten-wire braided insertion tube resists abrasion and repeated flexing, rated for 20,000 bending cycles, so the probe holds up to daily industrial use. The sapphire-glass lens repels oil and water and resists scratching, keeping the image clear inside dirty engines and wet lines. WiFi connectivity and multi-screen interconnection mirror the live view to additional monitors or devices, so a team can watch the same feed during an inspection.
A detachable lithium battery and replaceable snake tube keep the QualiScope™ IV working in the field, since a spent cell or a worn probe swaps out without returning the whole unit for service. A high-temperature alarm with automatic power-off protects the electronics when the probe enters hot cavities. Maintenance teams in automotive, pipeline, and general manufacturing use it for engine carbon inspection, pipe repair verification, and routine remote visual inspection.
