Theory and Method

The system uses a refrigeration circuit to remove heat from a circulating thermal fluid inside the unit. A pump then delivers this chilled fluid through an external loop (reactor jacket, condenser, coil), absorbs heat from the process load, and returns it to the chiller to be cooled again.

Temperature control is maintained through closed-loop regulation (setpoint control) that adjusts refrigeration output and system operation to stabilize the circulating fluid temperature under changing process loads.
