Safety Information

Low-Energy Charpy V-Notch Specimens SRMs are designed for the in-house indirect verification of Charpy testing machines, in compliance with the current ASTM E23 Standard and ISO 148-2 Standard.

• Testing Temperature: SRM 2562 must be tested at 21°C ± 1°C.
• Specimen Quantity: Each unit contains between 5 and 7 specimens. The exact number depends on statistical variability determined during lot certification at the Charpy Laboratory.

The statistical parameter n_SS specifies the number of tests required to ensure the average absorbed energy is statistically consistent with the certified absorbed energy.
