QualiBroach™ M1 Manual Charpy Broaching Machine is a cost-effective, single-station unit ideal for low-volume impact specimen notching.
Fast, accurate, and reliable Charpy specimens: This machine can create a notch in just 10 seconds. The broach is made of W18Cr4V, a very tough material with wear-resistant properties, and has a lifespan of approximately 20,000 specimens (within HRC45 hardness specimens).
The process for creating V-type or U-type notches meets the requirements of ASTM E23 (Standard Test Methods for Notched Bar Impact Testing of Metallic Materials) and ISO 148 (Steel-Charpy Impact Test - U-notch).
