A mill laboratory and a cable plant both run tensile tests, yet they need different machines. Buying one frame to cover both ends of that range usually satisfies neither.
Engineering faculties and research centers add a further group of buyers. Their work leans toward programmable control and data capture rather than the throughput a production laboratory needs.
Matching a Universal Testing Machine in Egypt to Each Duty
Heavy structural work sets the top of the range. The QT-HW2 hydraulic frames handle rebar, wire strand, mesh, tubes, plates, and fasteners at capacities from 600 kN to 2000 kN.

Egyptian standards come from the Egyptian Organization for Standardization and Quality, and GOEIC handles inspection on goods crossing the border. Meanwhile, EGAC accredits laboratories to ISO/IEC 17025, and the Housing and Building National Research Center anchors building materials research.
Your buyer, however, may cite an international method instead of a national one. Machine capability therefore has to align with the standard named in the contract rather than the one nearest to hand.
Load measurement accuracy on the QT-HW2 frames meets ISO 7500-1, ASTM E4, EN 10002-2, and JIS B7721, and the series is built to the requirements of ASTM E8. Strain measurement meets ASTM E83 and ISO 9513.
Auditors tend to examine records before they examine machines. Organized paperwork therefore protects a contract as effectively as an accurate load cell does.
