It is intended for hydraulic oil, lubricating oil, transformer insulating oil, turbine oil, gear oil, engine oil, aviation kerosene, water-based hydraulic fluids, organic liquids, and polymer solutions.

Built for field and laboratory use, this portable system combines a semiconductor laser, 32 configurable detection channels, onboard data handling, and battery-supported operation in a rugged carry-case format. Theory and Method

The QualiOPC™ 400H uses the optical light-blocking method, also called the shading or photoresist method. As particles pass through the sensing zone, they interrupt the laser beam, and the instrument converts those signal changes into particle size and particle count data. This method is widely used for liquid contamination analysis because it allows direct measurement of suspended solid particles in oils and related fluids.

The system supports both offline bottle sampling and online measurement. For online workflows, a normal pressure range of 0.1 to 0.6 MPa, with an optional pressure-reducing device for higher-pressure measurement up to 40 MPa. Optional pressure or vacuum sample chambers for higher-viscosity samples and sample degassing support.
