Portable Thermal Camera (Advanced) - QualiTC™ 64 is a high resolution industrial thermal camera built for power grid crews, plant technicians, and petrochemical inspectors. The device pairs a 640×480 thermal detector with an 8-megapixel visible light camera on a 4.3-inch sunlight-readable industrial touchscreen with adjustable brightness. A measurement range of -20°C to 1200°C (-4°F to 2192°F) covers routine electrical checks and demanding high-temperature process work in the same device. TisoView image processing applies super-resolution and detail enhancement to keep the display sharp.

The QualiTC™ 64 pairs a 40-meter laser rangefinder with laser point temperature measurement, so an operator can confirm target distance and read a precise spot temperature without stepping closer to a hazard. Voice annotation attaches spoken notes to a captured photo or video. The included PC software reads full-frame thermal data and full-temperature video for a detailed report after the inspection. WiFi, Bluetooth, and HDMI outputs move images to a phone, PC, or external display.

The QualiTC™ 64 runs on a detachable 5000 mAh lithium battery that also charges directly from a USB adapter, so a spare pack tops up without a separate dock. An IP54 rating protects the camera from dust and splashing water on active job sites. Theory and Method

Every surface above absolute zero emits infrared radiation in proportion to its temperature, and the QualiTC™ 64 captures this energy in the 8 to 14 micrometer long-wave infrared band using a 640×480 detector array. Each detector element changes electrical resistance as it absorbs infrared radiation, and the onboard processor converts that resistance change into a temperature value for every pixel. TisoView then applies super-resolution, digital detail enhancement, saturation control, and gain optimization to sharpen the resulting image.

Reaching a 1200°C upper limit takes more than a wide detector range. The camera applies measurement correction for target distance, atmospheric conditions, ambient temperature and humidity, and visibility, all of which affect how much infrared energy actually reaches the sensor from a hot, distant target. The built-in 40-meter laser rangefinder measures true distance to the target and feeds that value into the correction calculation instead of relying on an operator's estimate.

Point, line, and frame temperature measurement modes let the operator sample a single spot, a profile along a weld or seam, or an entire region for its highest, lowest, and center-point readings. Because the camera can record full-frame radiometric video, every pixel in every frame carries its own temperature value, so a reviewer can pull a reading from any point in a recorded sequence rather than only from a still photo.
