Configuration:

The 8 measurement points (2 x 4) are installed in a rectangular trough. Tests can be conducted in air or in a water bath with a constant temperature (including a heat exchanger and cooler to maintain constant water temperature). Programmed testing sequences are available. The beginning and end of setting time, as well as setting plots, are automatically recorded. The weight of the plunger and the Vicat needle is an additional 300 grams with a tolerance of ± 1 gram. The Vicat needle is automatically cleaned after each penetration.

Important notes:

  • A standard PC or laptop is required for operation, which is not included in the scope of delivery. ** For standard EN 480-2, the following additional items are required: weight 1.0366.10, plunger 1.0366.12, and optionally, the extra cooling unit 1.0366.13 for a test temperature of 5°C.
