Computer Integrated Manufacturing (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) Industry 4.0 System, QualiFF03™, uses actual industrial hardware and full-size equipment across an end-to-end manufacturing line to produce real products.
The system includes an industrial conveyor linking workstations, a six-axis robot, 5-axis milling, lathe machining, a 3D warehouse, AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), visual inspection, Industry 4.0 sensors, networking, and integration.
Smart sensors provide real-time status updates, while a multi-tiered Ethernet and IIoT network enable central management, cloud connectivity, and integrated data analysis.
Through the Computer Integrated Manufacturing project, students gain hands-on experience with a fully simulated Computer Integrated Manufacturing system, learning all aspects of the production cycle.

Through the Computer Integrated Manufacturing project, students work with a fully simulated industrial Computer Integrated Manufacturing, learning every aspect of the production cycle from customer orders and inventory control to the automated manufacturing of materials into finished products, quality inspection, and final delivery. Students set up and operate Computer Integrated Manufacturing cells and gain practical experience with mass production processes. The system utilizes real industrial hardware, including an industrial conveyor system linking workstations, six-axis robots, 3-axis CNC milling, CNC lathe machining, ASRS (Automated Storage and Retrieval System), AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), visual inspection, Industry 4.0 sensors, networking, and integration. The full-size equipment, from end to end, produces real products.

 | Six-Axis Robot The floor-mounted six-axis robot is designed to load and unload parts to and from the Computer Integrated Manufacturing conveyor. It handles tasks such as loading and unloading CNC milling parts, CNC lathe turning parts, routing, and managing AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles), among other functions. |
 | Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS) The ASRS includes a dedicated four-axis robot that transfers parts between storage cells and conveyor pallets. Controlled and monitored from a central management console, the ASRS can integrate RFID and other inventory and location tracking technologies for enhanced efficiency and accuracy. |
 | AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle) The Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) is responsible for loading and unloading parts to and from the Automated Storage & Retrieval System (ASRS). It offers two navigation options: laser-guided and magnetic navigation, providing flexibility and precision in its operations. |
 | Industrial Conveyor System Linking Workstations The closed-loop conveyor system transports pallets carrying part templates (holders) between workstations. Robots and manipulators load and unload the pallets at each station, ensuring smooth, automated movement of materials throughout the process. |
 | Small CNC Lathe Machining The robot loads parts from the conveyor to the small CNC lathe, capable of machining a variety of materials such as aluminum, brass, plastic, wood, composite, and wax. Once machining is complete, the lathe door opens, and the robot unloads the part, transferring it to the next station. |
 | Small CNC Center Machining The 3-axis CNC center automatically opens its door as the robot loads parts from the previous station. Capable of machining materials such as aluminum, brass, plastic, wood, composite, and wax, the CNC center completes the machining process, and once finished, the door opens automatically. The robot then unloads the part and transfers it to the next station. |
