Digital Asphalt Viscometer – QualiRVDV™ Features
Digital Asphalt Viscometer – QualiRVDV™ is designed to measure materials that are solid at room temperature and become liquid after heating to high temperatures, such as asphalt, hot melt adhesives, and polyethylene wax.
The measured data is displayed directly on the LCD screen, eliminating the need for secondary calculations. The optional VSoft Viscometer Data Collection, Analysis, and Graphing Software allows for data acquisition and analysis, including the creation of viscosity-temperature curves.
It features a high-precision stepper motor for accurate and stable speed control. The LCD screen with blue backlight displays key metrics such as viscosity, speed, percentile torque, spindle number, and the maximum viscosity and temperature of the selected spindle at the current speed. The DV-2 series also shows shear rate and shear stress. Viscosity values continuously update, and an alarm sounds when the measurement exceeds the range.
The instrument offers excellent performance, with computer-corrected accuracy. The high-temperature furnace uses integrated heating for uniform temperature distribution and low thermal inertia.
