The machine is ideal for conducting life tests on bending headsets. The procedure for the bending life test is as follows: the headsets are secured by clamps on the left and right simultaneously, and then pulled back simultaneously, with the travel adjustable. After conducting N rounds of testing, the headsets are inspected for any damage.
Test Procedure:
- Measure the clamping force of the Device Under Test (DUT). Take measurements 15 seconds after placing the unit on the measurement fixture.
- Configure the test equipment to use the following parameters for the Open, Place, Remove, and Close settings.
- Initiate the bend tester equipment. Each cycle consists of Open, Place, Remove, and Close actions. Check for cosmetic and functional issues every 500 cycles.
- After completing 7200 cycles, conduct Cosmetic Inspection and Functional Inspection on the DUT. Measure the clamping force of the DUT after the 7200 cycles.
- If the DUT passes inspection, continue running the bend tester until failure or stop at 72,000 cycles.
