High-Energy Charpy V-Notch Specimens SRMs are designed for in-house indirect verification of Charpy testing machines, compliant with the current ASTM E23 Standard and ISO 148-2 Standard.
- Testing Temperature: SRM 2564 must be tested at 21 °C ± 3 °C.
- Specimen Quantity: Each unit contains 5 to 7 specimens. The exact number depends on statistical variability determined during lot certification at the Charpy Laboratory.
- Statistical Validation: The sample size, nSS, defines the number of tests required to ensure that the average absorbed energy is statistically comparable to the certified absorbed energy.
