Multi-Ball Tape Initial Adhesion Tester- QualiTIAT™ 4
For those who need to test multiple samples simultaneously, the QualiTIAT™ 4 model expands on the capabilities of the QualiTIAT-™ 1 by offering four sets of rolling balls. This tape initial adhesion tester also complies with the JIS Z0237 and GB/T 4852 standards, providing the same level of precision but with enhanced productivity.
To measure the initial adhesion of PSA (Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive) tapes, apply light pressure between the objects and the tape to ensure brief contact. This initial adhesion can be evaluated using a standard test. Position the tape on a slanted panel board at a 30-degree angle and let a steel ball roll over it. The size of the largest ball that adheres to the given length of tape determines the initial adhesion strength.
