QT-ECTC-6270-1 Single-sided Exposure Condensation Test Chamber

The QT-ECTC-6270-1 Single-sided Exposure Condensation Chamber provides a testing condition for determining the resistance of paint films, varnishes and related products to condensation conditions as required by coating or product specifications. It is applicable to coatings on porous substrates such as wood, plaster, and plasterboard, as well as non-porous substrates like metal. This chamber offers insights into performance under severe exposure conditions where continuous condensation occurs on the surface. The procedure can reveal coating failures (including blistering, staining, softening, wrinkling, and embrittlement) and substrate deterioration.
This tester is fast, user-friendly, and cost-effective. It utilizes 100% condensing humidity to simulate and accelerate damage caused by rain and dew on metals, paints, and organic materials. By increasing moisture temperature, it accelerates over natural exposures. The tester replaces water immersion and ordinary (non-condensing) humidity tests.
