The QualiLP™ 1319 is a fluorescent indicator adsorption (FIA) tester purpose-built for the determination of hydrocarbon types — saturates, olefins, and aromatics — in liquid petroleum products, in full compliance with ASTM D1319. Used by petroleum refiners, fuel blenders, quality control laboratories, and regulatory compliance testing facilities, the QualiLP™ 1319 quantifies the volume percent of each major hydrocarbon class in gasoline, jet fuel, aviation gasoline, and other light petroleum distillates — data that is directly used to verify fuel specifications, assess combustion performance, and monitor refinery process control.

At the heart of the QualiLP™ 1319 is a dual-column FIA system using imported precision adsorption columns — both operating simultaneously for maximum throughput. The instrument's patented environmentally-friendly enclosure design physically separates the operator from the 365 nm ultraviolet lamp, eliminating direct UV exposure during fluorescence boundary observation and interpretation — a meaningful safety advantage over open-lamp designs. A secured standard oscillator ensures consistent, reproducible adsorption column packing, and movable positioning points allow precise, repeatable determination of the hydrocarbon zone boundaries observed under ultraviolet illumination.

The instrument's flexible pipeline connection system, in-situ column cleaning capability (no column removal required), and straightforward operating sequence make the QualiLP™ 1319 highly practical for routine production laboratory use — combining the safety, reproducibility, and precision demanded by ASTM D1319 compliance testing with the operational convenience required for high-volume analytical workflows in refinery, aviation fuel, and petroleum QC laboratories.
