Thickness Gauge Dual Element Transducer

Thickness Gauge Dual Element Transducer are designed for ultrasonic thickness measurement when only one side of the material is accessible. These transducers feature two crystals within a single housing, separated by an acoustic barrier. One crystal transmits the signal, while the other receives it, enhancing measurement speed and accuracy.

The crystals are positioned at slight angles toward each other, allowing for improved near-surface focus.

Ideal for inspecting metal substrates, dual element transducers can also measure the thickness of plastics, composites, and fiberglass.
