Vicat VST Softening Point Temperature / Heat Deflection Tester QualiVST300 Parent Product HDT Vicat Heat Deflection Testers Applications Technical Specifications Vicat VST Softening Point Temperature / Heat Deflection Tester QualiVST300VST (Vicat Softening Temperature) is the temperature at which the surface of a loaded specimen (1 kg or 5 kg) is penetrated to a depth of 1.13 mm by a standard needle (1 mm² cross-section). The temperature increases at a steady rate of 50°C per hour. The Vicat VST Softening Point Temperature / Heat Deflection Tester QualiVST300 features a touch screen that guides users step by step. During the process, the display automatically calculates the load required for the test. A user-friendly interface and standardized process are designed to orient users quickly and reduce test errors. The display shows the specimen temperature and LVDT displacement at each station. The temperature recording stops when it reaches the deflection value, and the tester begins cooling down. This smart testing process is time-saving and requires minimal testers. The test is suitable for materials that are hard at room temperature. The specimen should be 3 to 6.5 mm thick and have dimensions of at least 10 x 10 mm or Ø10 mm.Interface IntroductionVicat Heat DeflectionSwitchable between ASTM or ISO standard. The test load is calculated and displayed automatically. Heat Deflection Temperature TestThe machine can also be configured in H.D.T test mode conforming to ASTM or ISO standard. When the specimen dimension is given, the test load can be calculated and displayed automatically.Test SettingBuilt-in standard test condition and standard test process can reduce the test error.Able to support with special test condition setting. Test Display3 working stations work at the same time and each station display its own temperature and deflection in real-time. At the end of test, the cooling system will be started automatically. Smart testing process is time-saving and requires only a minimum of testers.Test ProcessExclusive test operation leading can make it easier to use and help user to reduce the man-made improper operation.Result Saving1. Display can store 30 test data and able to save the result with USB.2. Pluging in the USB while testing can record the whole test process and save the raw data in CSV format for anlysis.
