Bridge-type Brinell Hardness Tester - QualiBHT-3000
QualiBHT-3000 Bridge-Type Brinell Hardness Tester is designed for accurate hardness testing of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, bearing alloys, hard cast steel, aluminum alloys, copper alloys, malleable castings, mild steel, tempered steel, annealed steel, and similar materials.
The Brinell hardness test method features the largest indentation among all standard hardness tests, making it highly sensitive to structural inconsistencies such as micro-segregation and uneven material composition. This results in a high-precision testing method with a measuring range of 5–650 HBW.
Built with a rigid frame structure for minimal deformation and excellent stability, this tester is ideal for large workpieces. The system consists of a main frame, lifting beam, motorized worktable, image-based measuring device, and a specialized CNC control unit.
The lifting mechanism uses four guide rods and two ball screw beams, enabling accurate vertical movement of the beam to adjust the testing space. Key components, including the central spindle and load sensors, are mounted on the beam. During operation, the applied force is instantly transmitted to the control system through the sensor.
The large, movable worktable is servo-driven along a linear guide rail using a ball screw system, allowing smooth positioning of the test piece. All testing parameters and operations are managed via an integrated computer interface.
Control System
The numerical control system includes a PLC, servo motor, driver, load sensor, and signal converter. During testing, the load sensor transmits data to the control board, which precisely regulates the servo motor’s movements. This ensures consistent and accurate force application through closed-loop control, keeping the test force within the defined tolerance range.
