QualiHolz - Buchholz Hardness and Indentation Tester
The QualiHolz Buchholz Hardness Tester also known as Buchholz Indentation Tester, offers a reliable test method for evaluating the indentation resistance of plastic deformable coatings. A beveled disc with a sharp edge is applied to the test surface under a constant load of 500g, provided by a steel block holder. The resulting trace after 30 seconds of the load application is measured using a 20X magnification illuminated microscope. The length of the indentation is inversely proportional to the hardness.
