Charpy Impact Specimen Notch Projector Q50X
Metal impact test requires precision in the notch of the specimen, as even slight variations can significantly affect test results. Ensuring the quality of the specimen notch is therefore crucial. Optical projection magnification inspection is currently the only practical method to guarantee the quality of the impact specimen notch.
The Qualitest Q50X Charpy Impact Specimen Notch Projector is specifically designed and developed in accordance with ASTM E23-18 "Standard Test Methods for Notched Bar Impact Testing of Metallic Materials" 8.2.2. This specialized and patented optical instrument inspects the quality of the notch processing for Charpy V-type and U-type impact specimens. It is an essential tool for physical and chemical laboratories in metallurgy, boiler and pressure vessel industries, vehicle and shipbuilding, engineering machinery manufacturing, and scientific research departments.

Using the optical projection method, this Charpy Impact Specimen Notch Projector magnifies and projects the notch contour of the impact specimen onto the projection screen. It then compares the projection with the standard pattern of the V-shaped or U-shaped notch to determine if the notch processing is acceptable. This device is user-friendly, requiring only a power source, and is designed for ease of operation, intuitive inspection and comparison, high efficiency, compact size, mobility, and easy maintenance.
