Unlike traditional methods like spread tables or slump flow tests, the eBT-V Mobile Rheometer for Fresh Concrete evaluates concrete under various loads, allowing for the determination of relative yield stress and viscosity.This device offers two operational modes:P-Mode: Ideal for typical or vibrated concrete as well as stiff concrete. In P-Mode, the rheometer conducts a single revolution (360°) test in non-sheared concrete, minimizing issues like segregation and structural breakdown during measurement. A measuring probe attached to the device rotates around a centering rod, measuring the force applied. The speed profile is customizable, and measurements typically take less than one minute.V-Mode: Suited for modern concretes like self-compacting concrete (SCC) and ultra-high-performance concrete (UHPC). V-Mode utilizes a vane geometry approximation of a classical cylinder shape. The star arrangement of wings on the probe minimizes sliding against the container walls, while integrated anti-slip rods on the device holder prevent slipping on the container surface. The eBT-V Mobile Rheometer for Fresh Concrete is mounted on the device holder, with the vane probe attached to the drive shaft.
