Engine Oil Apparent Viscosity Tester is the 2nd generation of the Cold-Cranking Simulators (CCS) Engine Oil Apparent Viscosity Tester. It combines a built-in compression chiller system and test unit for measuring engine oil's apparent viscosity from -35°C to -5°C. It features a patented thermoelectrically-cooled rotor/stator with a vacuum system and injection pump.
When the Windows® software is initiated, computer control manages the CCS motor's temperature and operation. The PC handles rotor speed measurement and viscosity calculation, with a user-friendly interface. Additionally, electronic motor-driven rotor rotation simplifies the cleaning process.
