Flammability Tester for Automotive Materials and Interior QualiFMVSS-302
Flammability Tester FMVSS 302 for Automotive Materials, compliant with FMVSS 302 (ISO 3795, DIN 75200), is designed to assess the burn resistance of interior materials used in motor vehicle occupant compartments.
During the FMVSS 302/ISO 3795 test, the sample is secured in a U-shaped holder, positioned horizontally in the test chamber, and exposed to a 38 mm flame for 15 seconds. The test measures the flame spread time and distance to determine the material's horizontal burn rate.

QualiFMVSS-302 Flammability of Automotive Materials Tester consists of:
The test chamber is constructed from stainless steel with a 2 mm wall thickness, ensuring durability and resistance to deformation during combustion tests.
It features a toughened glass viewing window, providing clear visibility for easy observation by the engineer.
The chamber includes ten 19 mm ventilation holes at the bottom and 13 mm wide ventilation slots along the sides to ensure proper airflow.
It is equipped with a Bunsen burner and a precision valve for adjusting the flame height to exactly 38 mm.
The system includes an ISO 3795-standard φ9.5 mm burning tube and an FMVSS 302-standard φ10 mm burning tube, both designed for quick and easy replacement.
A stainless steel collection tray is located at the bottom of the chamber to capture molten drips.
The U-shaped stainless steel specimen holder slides smoothly into the chamber from the right side.
The timer automatically activates once the specimen holder is inserted, and the application flame is automatically extinguished at the start of the test.
