Geomembrane Permeability Tester - QualiGTX™ GPT GM 100

QualiGTX™ GPT GM 100 geomembrane permeability tester measures the permeability coefficient of waterproofing membranes under applied hydraulic pressure. Qualitest North America supplies it to laboratories qualifying barrier liners, where the quantity being measured sits close to zero and the apparatus has to prove it. Pressure runs from 0 to 1 MPa under pump control, and three specimens test at once. A 10-inch LCD touchscreen manages setup, pressure setting, and automatic timing.

Geomembrane testing differs from geotextile testing in what the operator expects to see. A filter fabric passes water freely and the measurement is over in seconds, while a barrier membrane passes almost nothing and the run takes hours. The QualiGTX™ GPT GM 100 answers that with pressure instead of gravity head, driving water against a Ø80 mm specimen with more than 20 cm² of exposed flow area. Collected volume over elapsed time gives the coefficient.

Three specimen positions run in parallel, so one test campaign produces the replicate data a barrier specification calls for without three sequential runs. The water collector comes in Ø70 mm or Ø100 mm, selected at order. A source water tank is standard, and controllable constant-temperature water supply is available as a custom option. The cabinet occupies 750 by 720 mm, weighs 110 kg, and runs on 220 V single-phase power.
