Geosynthetic Hydrostatic Pressure Tester (1 Station) - QualiGTX™ GHPT 1

Geosynthetic Hydrostatic Pressure Tester determines the water pressure at which a geomembrane, composite geomembrane, or geotextile barrier starts to leak. The QualiGTX™ GHPT 1 tests one ø200 mm specimen at a time and drives pressure anywhere from zero to 2.5 MPa. A 10-inch color touchscreen handles pressure setting, digital timing, and live test monitoring from a single screen. Laboratories that need dependable single-specimen throughput rather than parallel capacity choose this configuration.

An integrated pump and reservoir feed the test cell automatically, so operators do not top up water between runs or during a long pressure hold. The specimen clamp uses 304 stainless steel components that resist corrosion after repeated wet cycles and seal evenly around the perimeter. A stainless steel worktop surrounds the cell and keeps spilled or permeated water off the frame. Total weight is 97 kg on a 760 x 720 mm footprint, so the unit fits an ordinary laboratory bay.

Geosynthetics manufacturers, construction materials laboratories, and civil engineering test houses run the GHPT 1 for incoming inspection, batch verification, and specification checks on liner materials. Water temperature reaches 80 °C, which opens up elevated-temperature work on barriers headed for landfill caps, industrial ponds, and warm-climate installations. Temperature control matters here because water viscosity, and therefore the way a flaw leaks, changes with heat.
