Geosynthetic Hydrostatic Pressure Testers
Geosynthetic Hydrostatic Pressure Testers | Impermeability and Permeability Testing to 2.5 MPa
Geosynthetic hydrostatic pressure testers measure how much water pressure a geomembrane or barrier liner holds before it starts to leak. Liner producers, materials laboratories, and civil engineering test houses use them to qualify barrier materials for landfills, canals, reservoirs, and tailings ponds. Every model in this range clamps a ø200 mm specimen and applies water pressure from zero to 2.5 MPa.
Several models also determine permeability coefficient, the steady-state flow figure that seepage design calculations depend on, using the constant-head approach described in EN 14150. The range runs from an entry-level bench through touchscreen units with temperature control up to a three-station system for parallel testing.
