Headspace Gas Analyzer Quali-HGA™ by Qualitest

The cutting-edge Headspace Gas Analyzer Quali-HGA™ uses the breakthrough puncture detection method and features top-of-the-line oxygen and carbon dioxide sensors to precisely gauge the O2 and CO2 levels within various hollow packaging formats such as bags, bottles, and cans.
Analyzing the headspace gas composition within packaging enables informed assessments of product quality, shelf life expectancy, and packaging efficacy. Furthermore, it serves as a valuable tool for assessing packaging integrity.
Particularly suited for modified atmosphere preservation (MAP) and controlled atmosphere preservation (CAP) packaging, as well as monitoring oxygen levels in large infusion containers, pre-filled needles, vials, and diverse food and pharmaceutical products. In the dynamic landscape of flexible packaging, headspace gas analysis has emerged as a pivotal method for evaluating packaging quality and determining product longevity.
Our cutting-edge Quali-HGA™ headspace gas analyzer swiftly detects oxygen levels in production lines, warehouses, laboratories, and other settings, offering crucial insights to optimize production processes.
Test Principle
The sample's gas is drawn into the sensor via a vacuum pump, where the sensor promptly provides real-time current and voltage signals indicating the O2 and optionally CO2 concentrations. By analyzing these signals, the instrument precisely calculates the gas's O2 and CO2 content. Upon reaching experiment completion criteria, the test ceases, and the instrument records the O2 and CO2 concentrations within the sample gas.
