Ozone Test Chamber – OzoneTest UV for testing Rubber Deterioration Construction Technology
UV Ozone Detector:
The Ozone concentration measurement device utilizing a UV sensor conforms to ISO 1431-3 and ASTM D4575 standards.
This device:
- Maintains a continuous detection of ozone concentration within the test chamber.
- Executes self-calibration every 30 seconds by comparing the measurement of ozonated air with pure air.
- Controls the ozone generation in the test chamber through PID control, ensuring that test conditions are achieved within the timeframes set by the standard while minimizing oscillations.
The device can be provided with an official calibration certificate issued by an accredited laboratory.

Test Chamber:
Ozone Tester stands out as the sole instrument equipped with a cylindrical test chamber featuring symmetrical air extraction via a double-chamber system. This distinctive design guarantees an even dispersion of ozonized air within the chamber, a feat not achievable with a cubic chamber. Constructed from stainless steel, the chamber features inspection windows at the front, complemented by two lateral lights. These elements facilitate sample inspection throughout testing, eliminating the necessity to halt the test or extract samples from the chamber.

Support for Static Traction Test:
- Equipped with a sample holder designed to accommodate 2-4 samples subjected to static strain, featuring adjustable grip distances.
- Includes a static test piece holder incorporating a planetary effect, aligned with ISO 1431-1 standards. This mechanism facilitates the movement of test pieces throughout the chamber's entire volume, ensuring a uniformly exposed ozone atmosphere.
- The device can accommodate up to 64 samples (with a width of 10 mm) for simultaneous testing.

Support for Static Traction Testing of Rubber Hoses:
Sample holders designed for conducting tests on rubber hoses in accordance with ISO 7326 - methods 1 and 2.

Support for Dynamic Testing:
Complies with ASTM D1149, ISO 1431, and SAE J1401 standards. Designed to be inserted into the test chamber to examine the ozone resistance of cured rubber under dynamic conditions (ranging from 3 to 30 cycles per minute - 0.05 to 0.5 Hz). Capable of simultaneously testing up to 10 samples.

Management of Test Results:
All test results and associated curves from conducted tests are stored within the SQL database and can be accessed using the Datagest program.
Datagest serves as the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) and is consistently installed alongside all instrument-control programs. This program serves as the central repository for all test results generated by connected instruments, allowing for efficient management of shared resources utilized by the instruments, such as Product Lists, Customer Lists, Tolerance Limits, Order Lists, and more.

Industry 4.0 Integration:
Both the instrument and the software have been meticulously designed to enhance seamless integration with various environments. The SQL-format database, coupled with the Company_Connect program, enables synchronization between your company's management software and the database. This streamlines test identification and facilitates the utilization of barcode readers or similar devices for added efficiency.

Resuming Tests After Unintended Interruption:
The instrument consistently retains operational settings. Following a power outage, users have the ability to restart the program and seamlessly resume the paused test.
Standard Calibration Service for Ozone Cabinet:
This calibration service adheres to the specifications outlined in the ISO 1431 standard.
The service package encompasses:
- Routine maintenance of the instrument.
- Thorough cleaning of the Ozone Detector, including replacement of internal filters.
- Calibration of the test chamber's temperature (40°C).
- Calibration of Ozone Concentration within the test chamber (at 50 pphm, 100 pphm, 150 pphm, 200 pphm).
- Calibration of the time required to attain the set ozone concentration (NEW).
- Calibration of the relative Humidity within the chamber at 50% and 75% (Only applicable to instruments with humidity control).
- Final verification of the instrument's proper functionality.
- Issuance and email dispatch of the Calibration Certificate, demonstrating traceability to primary standards.
Safety Features:
- The instrument automatically secures its opening when the ozone concentration surpasses 10 pphm, safeguarding against inadvertent exposure to ozonized air.
- Generation and distribution of ozonized airflow occur within a closed circuit, adhering to safety regulations and eliminating the necessity for an aspiration system.
- Safety sensors avert the instrument from extreme temperatures and humidity levels resulting from incorrect settings.
- Equipped with a Safety Push-button.
- The instrument is supplied with CE Labelling to certify its adherence to safety standards.

Hardware Requirements:
- Programs are compatible for installation on standard PCs operating with WINDOWS 10 or 11.
- The connection between the instruments and the PC is established using the USB CABLE included with the instrument.
- The programs have been designed for compatibility with antivirus software and other programs already installed on the PC.
